White & Colored Longhair Turkish Angora-DLH Kittens June 2014 in Norris, Georgia For Sale

Announcing!! White and Colored Angora-DLH kittens will be available mid to late June xxxx. We can hardly contain our excitement. Our two brand new litters are sired by our White Angora, "Sir To'mas", pictured as a 10 week old in our posting feature ad and first thumbnail photo.
The first litter, born April 27, xxxx, belongs to "Rana", which is Turkish for "Beautiful". Rana is a truly beautiful Gray and White Bi-Colored Angora and proud mama of four gorgeous long hair kittens. A solid White female, (2nd photo), a Bi-Color Gray & White female,(Sold) a Bi-Color Black & White Tuxedo male,(Photo #5) and a Smoke Gray Tuxedo female.(Photo # 3on kitten on right and photo #4 kitten on left)
The second litter, born May 1, xxxx, belongs to our solid Black "Kara Kadife", Turkish for 'Black Velvet". Kara totally surprised us with a litter of seven tiny, but healthy kits.
One solid White male, (photo #3-kitten on left), one light Silver Gray female with white paws.(photo # 6).The other five (2 females and 3 males) are identical with dark faces, legs and tails, white paws and medium to long lush coat of frosted gray that looks like little Minks or Silver Fox coats.(See photo #4- kitten on left and last 2 photos). Kitten in photo #7 is a female.Kitten in last photo is a male.They are quite unique in color but very beautiful.
Most people think of Angoras as being solid White. However, Angoras also come in a wide variety of colors such as solid Black, Blue, Blue gray, Blue Cream, Red, Red Cream, all shades of Tabby, Bi- Colors, Tri-Colors, (Calico and Torties), Silver Gray shades and Smoke colored. Angora Kittens have fine, silky medium to long soft "bunny like" coats, with ear fringe and paw pad tufts.They do not have an undercoat as Persians do and are less prone to shed, mat or have dander. They develop their signature "Bottle Brush" plume tail when mature. Male's feathery tails are more prominent than the females.
Angora cat eye colors varies from blue, Odd Eye.(One blue and one amber) with amber or gold/green being the dominent eye color. Odd Eyed White Angoras are a rarity and highly prized in Turkey.
Turkish Angoras are considered the "Aristocrats" of the cat world and is considered one of the world's most beautiful and highly intelligent breeds. They are a lithe, lean active cat, but have a very calm disposition. Males are medium to large size and females are typically delicate, dainty and small frame, giving them a "kittenish" appearance after they are grown.
The regal Angora cat originated from Ankara,Turkey and is considered to be a rare breed, hard to find outside the cat show arena. They are highly regarded and protected as a "National treasure" of Turkey.
Angoras are very observing and inquisitive and consider everything in their domain to be their own personal cat toy. Even though they are very laid back, with sweet docile personalities, they can zoom around the house at top speeds in pursuit of play, then come curl up lazily in your lap for hours. Angoras make great family pets. Their calm nature is very suitable for children and they get along well with other cats and family dogs. They seek attention and form strong bonds with their owners.
These beautiful kittens are Turkish Angora lineage, but are they are not CFA registered. As is reflected in the pricing.The parents are beloved and treasured family owned household pets, not cattery raised and are usually only offered once a year. Kittens are born in the closet, handled and well socialized from being raised in a loving family environment.
